Did you know that food not only affects your body, but also your mental health?
It is generally acknowledged that fast-food is unhealthy, and fruit and veg are good for the body. What about the effects food has on mental wellbeing?
Research shows that meat, fish, eggs, lentils and other sources of protein can help lift one’s spirits; that fish is a source of Omega-3s, which is extremely beneficial to the brain. Moreover, people who eat fresh foods generally feel more content, than those who consume processed foods.
