Have you ever heard about movie therapy?
Movie therapy is a form of supplemental therapy, like art, music and dance therapy, for medical and mental health issues.
This form of therapy uses movies, short movies and videos as tools. These tools are all used for the different kinds of movie therapy. These kinds are for example popcorn cinema therapy, which is mostly used for a possible emotional release, or evocative cinema therapy, which is used to have people connect with certain story lines or characters. Those kinds can be individual or group therapy.
It is in therapy that may not suit some people, but in this time with so many movies it is used quite a lot.
